Gift wrapping and packaging

Each item will be carefully wrapped in tissue paper and bubble wrap before being packed securely. I try to reuse/recycle packing materials where possible.

If your order is a gift I can add a personal note, if you leave a message at the checkout.


Shipping

I aim to dispatch your item(s) within 3-5 working days after receiving your order. Please contact me beforehand if you need something for a specific date and I will try to accommodate you.

Delivery times after dispatch:

  • Royal Mail Signed For™ 2nd Class - 2-3 working days, requires a signature on delivery.

  • Royal Mail Signed For™ 1st Class - 1 working day, requires a signature on delivery.

  • For international shipping please get in touch.

All items are wrapped and packed as safely and securely as possible before being sent to you, but If your item has arrived damaged please email me immediately with your order number and detailed images so I can look in to the matter for you.

If your order hasn’t arrived after 5 working days after dispatch please contact me and I will look into it for you.


Cancellations

You can cancel your order if it has not been dispatched, please contact me as soon as possible. If it has been dispatched, you will have to wait to receive the order and then send the items back. For details of how to send items back please read the information in the Returns and Exchanges section.

Returns and Exchanges

I hope you love your order, but if you are not happy please don’t hesitate to contact me and I will do my best to resolve the issues.

Please email me within 14 days of receiving your items with your order number. You must contact me before sending the items back so I am ready to receive them. Items can be returned in person (by prior arrangement only) or sent back to me in suitable packaging. When sending back please obtain either proof of postage or confirmation from your chosen courier. Customers are responsible returning the items unused and undamaged, they will be checked thoroughly before a refund or exchange is authorised.

Care Instructions

Here are a few care instructions and tips for looking after your pieces…

  • Washing up

    • It is best to wash your bone china by hand, but not with anything abrasive that could scratch the surface.

    • To avoid tea and coffee stains rinse out your mug/cup with warm water immediately after each use.

    • To remove stains you can use hot water with denture tablets and soak, or make a paste with bicarbonate of soda and use as a gentle scrub.

  • Dishwasher

    • Patterns are fully fired into the glaze, so you can put your items into the dishwasher (I do with mine), but please do so with care.

    • Make sure you stack your dishwasher so items are not touching each other to avoid scratches and potential damage

    • Use the gentlest washing cycle.

    • Do not put items with gold or platinum decoration in the dishwasher.

  • Microwave

    • Most ceramic items are safe to use in the microwave but not items decorated with gold or platinum decoration.
